- While this freeware program may not come with many tricks, it extracts icons reliably and efficiently. Icon Sucker uses a basic Explorer window to display file folders and their contents. A folder tree allows you to quickly move between folders when looking for files. Once a folder has been selected, the program in another frame displays all the icons (executable or otherwise in the folder.
- The process of extracting is straightforward. A right-click on the icon will give you the option to save in ICO or BMP format. Though this icon extraction program could benefit from more advanced features, such as batch extraction, it performs its primary duties without error. Users who have smaller jobs to do and are looking to save some cash will probably find this compact program worth a look.
